While most of the country is still in the winter cold snap, here at Timber Wolf Forest Products we are rolling into spring. Although, the past few weeks are showing signs that old man winter is going out with a fight, I do believe that warmer days are near. The grass is growing, the trees are budding, and the flowers are beginning to bloom in all the brilliant colors that make North Carolina’s spring so beautiful. New things are beginning here at Timber Wolf as well.
We went through a product line expansion in 2007 and completed our web overhaul. We have been blown away by the positive feedback from our clients. We are working now to further expand our line for 2008. That has kept us quite busy. As a matter of fact, last month I wrote that I had been so busy that I forgot to write the newsletter for February!!!! I said I would never hear the end of it. LOL!! Well I have to say….I hate it when I am right.
In addition to broadening our existing line we are looking forward to bringing you more quality products in 2008. We will increase or add to our lines of dimension stock, tapered legs, bun feet, columns, corbels and more in 2008. There are a lot of requests for other items as well, but hang in there…..we will get to it.
We have heard your howls and have changed a few things on the site to make it a little easier to order. We have now added the option to order your bun feet with hanger bolts already installed directly from the site. No charge for this extra service by the way. We also have stream-lined our search engine and have made it available from every page of the catalog and the home page. We now have a shopping cart where you can easily look at your selected items and continue shopping without disruption. We added the custom quote page several months ago and already clients are realizing that Timber Wolf Forest Products can save some serious dough on those hard to find custom pieces. One recent change has been the customization page that allows you to choose from notching, quartering, and splitting as well as a few other modification processes. This option page appears in the checkout process and is highlighted to get your attention. If you miss this page and want to add it to your order, then just give us a call and we will get you “squared” away.
Hollie and I just got back from the cabinet show in Chicago. Let me tell you, spring has not arrived there!!! We were able to share a booth with Steve Lauser from the Wood Components Manufacturers’ Association (WCMA). It was great to put a face with some of our long standing as well as new clients. We got to talk shop with many of you and it was always educational. If we missed you, please check us out at the booth at the IWF show in Atlanta this August. I will apprise you of more details soon.
